BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

The idea and vision to establish the Diocesan Educational Centre was conceived and established by the wife of the Bishop of Niger Delta Diocese, Anglican Communion, Mrs Chinyere Elenwo on 17th January, 1994. In 1996, The Diocese of Niger Delta North was created and the school was made part of the Diocese. The school commenced with the Primary Section and the Secondary section commenced in 2007.

The school is run and managed by the women ministry of the Diocese of Niger Delta North, Anglican Communion. To the glory of God, Diocesan Education Centre has been moving from glory to glory.
